Pettitte and Jurrjens are getting two starts this week due to postponed games. Probably a couple of other guys too.

I didn't start Gomez for that cycle performance. The cycle is like the ultimate in that league, too (1B, 2B, 3B, HR, TB +)

Wouldn't Theriot have SS eligibility while Young is out? As always, it's just advice, but I don't think I would drop Longoria for Barmes, his ceiling is much higher.

Barmes is on my waiver wire. I have M Young at SS and Upton/Theriot at 2b. My league is really tight when it comes to trades, people just don't want to make any. Longoria has been sitting my bench in favor of Atkins, and Barmes is also only 4 games away from 3b eligiblity as well. I am looking for for versatility at this point, and starting to carry more pitchers instead of fielders. I will look to see about Tejada or Rollins.

Thanks Howard.

I like the idea of moving Longoria if you are already strong at 3B, but think you should be able to get more than Barmes. I would either try to get another advantage from the Barmes owner, or shoot a little higher, alhtough not sure who I might target. I was thinking Renteria, but after looking at his stats, I'm unimpressed as his average has dropped 50 points in the last two weeks. Tejada? Maybe give some more and try to get a returning Jimmy Rollins?

Congrats on the good pub!! What do you think about swapping Longoria for Barmes? I already have Atkins at 3b and don't expect him to be surpassed by Longoria. I like the idea that Barmes will soon be eliglible for at least SS & 2b very soon. FYI, I also was able to pick up Owings (yeah someone dropped him) and drop Gallardo.

Jennifer

I warn you about Harden's health, but if you want to pick him up I would let go of Dempster. He is doing well, but is the worst of your starters.

As far as when Smoltz comes back, I'd think about Rauch. I expect Cordero will be healthy at some point this year, plus how many closers can you use.

Who are your hitters? Can we drop one of them? Can you make a trade to open up a roster spot?
